Outline

The Hot Mix Surface Treatment Method (Hard Type) (Product name:Refresh Seal Mix-H) is a surface treatment method whereby hot asphalt mixture with maximum aggregate size of 5mm with special modifying agent is laid out on an existing road surface in a thin layer and compacted.

Characteristics of Refresh Seal Mix-H

  1. Thin pavement / Milling or reform of structures is unnecessary as it is surface treatment method of average thickness 15~25mm.
  2. No milling and restraint of waste materials / Restraint of waste materials is possibe as milling is unnecessary.
  3. Plastic flow resistance / Dynamic stability is more than 1,500pass/mm.
  4. No special machinery / It can be opened to traffic in short time as it is constructed by normal paving machinery and it is thinly laid.
  5. Skid resistance and flexibility / It is skid resistant and flexible as it contains special modifiers.

Applications of Refresh Seal Mix

  1. Refresh of road surface. (reduction of road noise and improvement of riding quality)
  2. Preventive maintenance.
  3. Protection and strengthening of road surface with aging and aracks.
