ND-IT Construction SystemICT (Information Communication Technology) Construction System
Outline
ND-IT Construction System is the system in which construction is executed using the construction machines such as asphalt finisher, motor grader, bulldozer tractor, slip foam paver and roller installed with ICT devices according to the design working diagram. This system improves the efficiency, accuracy and safety of construction work. There are two methods; one is ND-TS method and another is ND-GNSS method.
ND-TS method
ND-TS method uses 360-degree mirror for automatic tracking. The automatic tracking total station (TS) monitors the mirror installed on the construction machines and gives positioning data to receiving antenna on those machines.
This method can be also applied to tunnel construction, underpass construction, etc.
Several units are needed to cover large construction area.
ND-GNSS Method
This method is made up by combining the GNSS and rotary laser transmitter.
This method uses the GNSS for horizontal positioning and uses a laser system for vertical positioning.
This method can not be applied to tunnel construction, underpass construction, etc. but covers large construction area by one unit.
